Yuli has really helped me improve my dance by kindly and effectively guiding me to a deeper understanding of tango. I have been dancing Argentine Tango since 2012 and two of my biggest inspirations have been Brian Nguyen and Yuliana Basmayjan. They have “changed my life” in Tango several times and I truly appreciate the dedication and overall quality of their teaching and commitment to the dance.

Over the past two years, I have had the pleasure of training with Yuli for competitive and social Tango dancing. Not only is she one of the most accomplished Tango dancers in the US, she is also a talented instructor that has the ability to impart challenging concepts like musicality, personal expression and creativity in her students dance. She personally has helped me bridge my understanding of simply following a lead, to actually actively dancing and being creative with the lead.
