One year ago same time it was a period of anxiety, stress, hard work, & of course at the same excitement for those who were preparing for the USA Argentine Tango Championship. I believe that experience is the best lesson and since the days were getting closer I thought of creating a Pre-Competition performance for the LA competitors at Milonga Luna. They expressed that the experience of performing in front of an audience was very essential. Now we are in 2014 and the days are getting closer and closer for the USA TANGO CHAMPIONSHIP of 2014. So I would like to announce for the upcoming Milonga Luna, March 14 we will have the Pre-Competition performance which will include dancing in a group to three different orchestras just like the way it is done at the competition. The orchestras will be announced right before the performance. After the performance, the competitors are welcome to ask for feedback from various tango professionals who will be present at the time including the 2011 USA champions Brian Nguyen & Yuliana Basmajyan, Makela Brizuela who was one of the judges at USA Tango Competition in 2013, Dominic Bridge who is the Guest Instructor & DJ of the night and several other instructors…It would be lovely to see all of you at Luna cheering and supporting our passionate and upcoming tango couples who have been working so hard these past several months.
We will announce the names of the couples who will perform in a few more days !

9:00PM – 10:PM “Refining your dance, how to use the core and its application to circular movements”
Dominic will be sharing part of his general methodology with the students: skills you can use to improve your dance as a whole.
*Souple dance shoes will be showcased at Luna 😉
The performance will be held at 11:30PM.
