Regina Tango Shoes is a project born from the passion for shoes and many years of experience of Eva Nataraja as a fashion designer. Eva, the owner and designer of Regina Tango Shoes, has an extensive background in the fashion world. After getting her masters of arts degree in fashion design, she started to travel in many countries: Paris, Spain, Germany, Italy and worked for several famous designers such as Jean Paul Gautier, Hugo Boss, Custo Barcelona, Martin Margela, to name a few. After 12 years of working in high fashion, she opened her boutique shop and designed beachwear called “Nataraja’s BeachWear”.
As Eva started to dance argentine tango and later became a professional tango dancer and teacher in Riccione, Italy, she felt the absence of glamour, comfort and good quality tango shoes. First, she started making tango shoes for herself and her friends then in 2007 Eva decided to specialize in the production of handmade shoes. In 2008 she created the brand Bandolera tango shoes, then several years later she started making Regina Tango Shoes combining quality, passion, elegance and comfort .These multiple aspects allow us to say that Regina Tango Shoes are by far the best tango shoes in terms of comfort, class and safety during the dance.
